Long Time No See

So, a lot has happened since my last post back in december. We didn't have internet for a few weeks and so I haven't been able to do anything on the site. I have a bunch of pictures that I have to go through for Christmas and Joshuas birthday. Hopefully I will get to those next weekend. I bought a new computer this weekend so I've been setting that up. Other than the photos I don't really have any big plans for the site. I'll be working on fixing bugs and adding more features to the dbprojects forums. I hope to add the ability to upload a profile photo. I also want to add the ability to add comments to my photo gallery.

So I went to play my Xbox 360 last night and I got the dreaded red ring of death. Funny thing is this happened on the same night as my Charter DVR stopped functioning. I'm wondering if they are related or if it is just a coincidence. The 360 could have been non-functional for some time now as I haven't played it in a while. I called the customer support about the 360 and went through all of the trouble shooting steps, and was told that they would send me a box to ship the 360 in and that I would not get charged for the repairs. I am very glad that Microsoft is covering this issue because my warranty is up and I really don't want to have to buy another 360. Back to the Charter DVR, this is my third DVR through them. The two previous ones had a TV tuner that failed, but this one seems to have a bad power supply. The time display flashes really faint when it is plugged in and there is a consistent thud sound coming out of the speaker. I called them and they were supposed to send out a tech but he is now an hour late. I'm starting to think I might want to change to a different provider.
